How to sprout
I use a clean glass jar and soak about 1/2 cup of beans overnight in water. Keep the jar covered in a dark place. I put mine in the cabinet.
For the next few days, rinse the beans and then put back in jar with the beans dry and breathing ( mesh covering)
This is a sprouter I bought at the garden store, but I pretty much convinced that the jar works best as long as you don't keep it sealed.
Rinse and repeat over the next few days and then depending on what you are sprouting you will see a tail to your bean/seed.
I have tried lentils, quinoa, and mung beans.
They're great for salads and main dishes with extra protein:)
